New skills and skill window

This is not a confirmed notice, but seems very real, so I will post it.
Few months ago I posted a video showing the skills up to lv 125.
As I said, this was only the first part of the Arabia expansion, which consisted on 2 parts.

So far, Japan and China versions of the game got this update, they bought it from Joymax and are implemented on their servers since September-December 2012.
Seems that when we get this update on the international servers, it will be a full-block update, cap level will be 130, and together with other changes, it will include an extended skill window and the skills up to 130.

Knights of Silkroad

WeMade and Joymax have been developing games for mobile devices since they started their partnership, one of this games is called Knights of Silkroad.

Seems it will be available for iOS and Android devices, it uses the Unreal Mobile Engine, and its an MMORPG based on real-time combat. It is scheduled to be released during the 2013 in the Korean market, is unknown about the international market.

Baghdad concept artwork

The official chinese Silkroad website have just released few artworks of the Baghdad town, nothing special, but here they are:

That's all. Not a single new about the Devil's Garden or the Petra Dungeon, I will make an entry as soon as I find something new about those.

Old clients - Censorship!

So, a friend called Schickl has been working on an emulator for the old cilent from 2004, the SRO_OPEN.EXE, and I had a tour around the old maps and so. I will post a video about it tomorrow, but for now I will show you how Joymax adapted Silkroad from a half-adult game to a all-ages game.
I'm not sure if current kSRO version has it, but all the other clients have a nude patch, not only on the characters, we all have seen screens of the naked characters around since a while ago, but NPC's and monsters.

Here you are an small recopilation of the differences I've seen around the old client.

Joymax is preparing an old school server

As we all know, both the international version and the korean version of Silkroad are losing players. The experiment with Silkroad-R didn't go as Joymax expected, and surprisingly, they listened to players, and they announced already that they are preparing an old school server, independent from their already existing servers and versions.
The first old school server will be launched for the Korea region, and according to the announcement few months later the international version will come out.
Some of the details given about this new old-school server are:

- Based on 80 cap
- Old job system
- Consigment system disabled, Stall Network added-back
- European region and race disabled

More details should be announced on the upcoming weeks.

Survival Arena

I assume most of the iSRO players went it already, but I will still show some pics and vids about it.

There are 3 different arenas, Colisseum, Palace and Desert.

The Desert and the Palace will probably be familiar to you, since 95% of the models are copied from existing places, only kinda "new" zone is the colosseum.

I knew about the survival arena since some months ago, but I had not enough info to be posted that was worth a post here, plus Babbe is missing so who knows, the blog is kinda abandoned, sorry for that, I will try to take more care about it!
