    If you fail to get to D as a final choice then you did something wrong. After the first 4 moves you can end on A,C or E. After the next 3 you will end up on B or D. When you choose to move "x" times you are asked to move 2 times that number "x" you had chosen. Moving 2*x times will take you to B or D again. When you are asked to move 2 times if you are a boy you end up on B or D again(because you can't go from A to E and vise-versa). And last you are asked to move 2 times right B-D,D-D.
